These terms govern your use of all Gosenville applications: Data Leak Scanner, Scam Detector, and Link Safety. By using any of our apps, you agree to these terms.
1. Service Description
Gosenville provides mobile security applications that help users identify data breaches, detect scam messages, and analyze the safety of URLs and QR codes. Our apps use a combination of third-party APIs and AI analysis to provide security insights.
2. Subscription Terms
- Some features require a paid subscription, available as auto-renewable subscriptions through the Apple App Store.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time through your Apple ID settings.
- Refunds are handled by Apple according to their refund policy.
- Free trial periods, if offered, convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use our apps only for their intended purpose of personal security. You may not:
- Use the apps for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the apps
- Use automated systems to access the apps in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
- Use the apps to harass, abuse, or harm others
- Resell or redistribute access to the apps
4. Limitation of Liability
Our apps are informational tools designed to assist with personal digital security. They are not a substitute for professional legal, cybersecurity, or financial advice.
- Data Leak Scanner results are based on publicly available breach databases and may not be exhaustive.
- Scam Detector analysis is AI-powered and may not catch every scam or may occasionally flag legitimate messages.
- Link Safety checks are based on known threat databases and heuristic analysis; a "safe" result does not guarantee absolute safety.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gosenville shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the apps.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and trademarks in our apps are the property of Gosenville or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of our apps without written permission.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our apps at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the apps ceases immediately.
8. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our apps after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify you of significant changes through our apps.
9. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
